Hello, I have decided to share with the folks who visit my site some of the knowledge and experiences I have while traveling throughout the US. I will try and add to the diary from time to time when time permits. I hope that those who view this page will enjoy it.
June: I flew to San Diego California at the beginning of this month. While there I visited the "Museum Of the Americas". This museum was founded by Bud Lueke and his wife. Bud had a love for artifacts and history. He designed and made by hand alot of the fames that the artifacts are displayed in We have in our collection several points that originated in Bud's private collection. I also visited another private museum and several collectors drawing on their knowldege of artifacts and their authenticity found in this area. I want to thank all of those people who shared their artifacts, time and knowledge with me. I hope to picture and post on the site artifacts obtained on this trip soon.
This is a photo inside the museum.
We have just returned from the Owensboro, Kentucky show. We had a great time meeting and talking with fellow collectors about relics from all over the world. Our display of artifacts from the Ron Poore collection and small points from around the world won the "Award of Excellence" for the show.
We will be finishing photos of the Poore collection which was found in the Mississippi Valley on both the Missouri & Illinois side of the river and hope to get them posted shortly. We greatly appreciate the opportunity that the Poores have given us in being able to display the collection for everyone to see.
8/12/07 - I have begun to post some of the Poore collection. Information about Mr. Poore collection can be found on our "Collection Data" page. The points can be veiwed on the Missouri / Illinois pages.
